Homecoming night!

Good Saturday evening! I'm watching the Boston-New York game, with the Yankees totally dominating the Red Sox 13-6. Kim and Konnor are at the Hanford High Homecoming dance, as is Matt. It's true that Matt is no longer in high school now that he has started at CBC, but he went to the dance with a group of friends. Hope that they all have fun!

So what has been happening around here? I have been working each weekday and this past week was a really good one. Today I got up early and did some housework, then just laid around and watched the Houston-St. Louis game. Tomorrow I hope to go to church, do some laundry, then watch the Seahawks-Patriots, and the two baseball games. Next week I will work at several different schools, mostly elementary and one middle school.

Oh, the Yankees just scored 2 more runs. Wow. The fans at Fenway are sure quiet. Wonder why.

Soon I hope to have some pictures posted. Until later, Kelly

It's Sunday!

It's another beautiful day in Richland, with blue skies sihouetted by the blazing yellows, oranges, and reds of the trees as autumn slowly pushes summer out of the way. Tonight I will be taking Matt, Kim, and Konnor to the Tri-City Americans hockey game at 5:00. Yesterday was such a great day, and I will write about it later. Part of yesterday was when Kim and I went to Ashley Manor to see Grandma Rossiter. She has aged a lot since the last time I saw her, but she still has her laugh and she just kept saying how glad she was that we were there. Irene is still funny and feisty, but it's really hard to understand what she is saying. Kim was so caring and loving to Grandma and other people there, it really was touching to me. So I am going to sign off now, and will write more later. Hope it's a great day for all!

hi

Today was very busy and I am exahausted, so I will make this quick. How about I just write tomorrow? Yes, that is what I will do. Tonight I will fall asleep hopefully listening to the Red Sox beat the Angels. I will write more in the next couple of days. Goodnight.

Welcome to our blog!

Hi! If you are reading this, then you are either a family member and/or friend of Kelly, Matt, or Kim OR you just happened upon this while you were blog-surfing. Either way, welcome.

Today has been an enjoyable day. I just returned from "Homecoming dress shopping" with Kim, Cassie, Jackie, Dee Dee, and Janet. The girls each found an adorable dress at Mariposa at Columbia Center. The girls and I ate at the Food Court, then I drove them back to their grandparents' house. Matt was there playing video games, feeling rather disappointed that his Oakland A's have eliminated from the baseball playoffs.

Hopefully this blog will be updated at least once a day, by myself and/or Matt and/or Kim. This could be a fun and different way to keep in contact with the important people in our lives that we don't always get to see or talk to. We'll see how it goes.

Please feel free to post comments. We look forward to hearing from you!

Until tomorrow (or later tonight if something major happens like Mt. St. Helens explodes...)
Kelly
